Attention all parents!
Deer and Mt Judea will be scheduling virtual parent teacher conferences next week. We will dismiss classes at 1:30 on Tuesday in order to hold conferences 2:30-7:00. Please be on the lookout for emails or telephone calls from your child’s teacher. We will make every effort to make contact with you. If your child is grades 7-12 at the Deer Campus, you will have the opportunity for a drive through style conference with teachers on Tuesday between 2:30 and 7:00.

Today at 10:45 am there was a report of a gunshot near the Deer School Campus. The Newton County SO was contacted immediately and were on the scene within minutes. Officers investigated and found the shots were simply target practice and there was no danger to the school. Student and staff safety is our highest priory. Thank you to the NCSO for their timely response.
