Employee Spotlight!!
Mrs. Wortham has been teaching for 15 years. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Spanish, as well as both a Master's in Elementary Education and a Master's in Educational Leadership, all earned from the University of Louisiana-Monroe. In 2019, Mrs. Wortham was honored with the title of Arkansas Ag in the Classroom Teacher of the Year. Over the past three years, she has served as our elementary digital learning teacher. Outside of the classroom, Mrs. Wortham enjoys spending time with her family. She is happily married to Adam and is the proud mother of two young boys, Henry (10) and William (6). In her free time, she enjoys completing jigsaw puzzles, geocaching, hiking, and board games. She goes above and beyond as a teacher and does a wonderful job of making virtual teaching a success. Thank you Mrs. Wortham for your dedication, your creativity, your hard work, and your positive impact on the digital program!

Ms. Shaylen Ricketts is a paraprofessional at our Mt. Judea Elementary. She is great with the kids, always willing to go above and beyond and a very talented artist! We are thankful she is an Eagle! Here is a little more about Ms. Shaylen:
I was born and raised in Newton Co. I graduated from Bruno-Pyatt in 2021. I enjoy painting and anything outdoors. I love spending time with family and boyfriend (Garrett). This is my first year working in a school setting and I have enjoyed this experience.

The Deer-Mt. Judea School District will hold a special called meeting tonight, at Deer, at 6:30.

Ms. Miranda is our Virtual Arkansas Facilitator and Yearbook Advisor at the Mt. Judea Campus. She keeps our students on track and makes a positive impact everyday! Everyone loves Ms. Miranda and we are so thankful she is a part of our Eagle family! Here is a little more about her:
I have been married 8 years, and I have 3 kids. Addison is 7 and in First Grade, Jackson is 5 and in preschool and Josie was born this October. I graduated from Mt. Judea School in 2015. I enjoy anything outdoors and we spend a lot of time camping.

⭐️Lequitta Davis⭐️we love having Mrs. Lequitta in our central office. She is will to help out in anyway needed. She is our go to judge for all our class competitions!
"Been married to my husband Donnie for 41 years. We have 2 children, Vanessa and Donavan and we have 5 wonderful grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Kaden, McKenna, Presley and Jackson, our oldest granddaughter Kate started college this year. I love to sing and go to church and be with my family."

Employee Spotlight Keith Perkins
Mr. Perkins is a joy to be around. He never complains and always has a smile on his face. He works so hard to engage our students in the Agri programs and through our shooting sports! We feel honored that he chose us to call home!
""I was born and raised on a row crop, cattle, and pig farm with my 2 brothers and 2 sisters near Bono, Arkansas. My parents met in a cotton field picking cotton. They were both the first to graduate high school from their families. I am married to Renee, and we have 5 kids. My oldest, Emily Perkins, is at eternal peace with Jesus. Hannah Jackman and her husband Joe reside in Springdale. Hannah teaches Science at Springdale Junior High in Fayetteville. They have 2 daughters, Lydia-4, and Claire-1. Dustyn Pekins and his wife Sammie live in Prairie Grove. Dustyn is an engineer at Georgia/Pacific. Graycen Russell and her husband Kyle reside in Russellville. Graycen is an Occupational Therapist for River Valley Therapy and Sports Medicine. Mallory lives in Brinkley and is a East teacher at Brinkley High School.
I enjoy traveling the country and meeting new and old friends. I enjoy everything outdoors – hunting and fishing just to name a few. I am an airplane pilot and enjoy taking my friends and family flying. I enjoy flying Pilots for Christ missions to individuals needing medical treatments. I worked many other jobs before coming to Deer/Mt Judea, including being a heavy equipment operator, trashman, truck driver, county extension agent and fish farm manager."-Mr. Perkins
