School districts in Arkansas have received three allocations of money from the federal government to use for COVID19 related issues. Remaining ESSER 2 and ARP funds are initially scheduled to be used for HVAC and loss of learning. However, there is an option of providing staff with additional pay for additional duties and for retaining teachers. The additional pay would not be added to the salary schedule. It would be in the form of one time payment. Please fill our the following ESSER Survey on how the district should proceed with these funds.

Deer Students , members of the Deer Ridge Runner Cloverbuds 4-H Group, volunteered for the Newton County Fair. The club was able to help their community by tagging a variety of exhibits.
