DMJ school board meeting April 17, 2023 Mt Judea cafeteria 7:00pm
Mt. Judea students, Jacob Eddings -12th, Hayden Moenning - 10th, and Isaac Campbell - 5th, served as student pages in the Arkansas Senate and House of
Representatives on Thursday, March 30th. These students were taken on
a grand tour of the Arkansas State Capitol where they learned about
each of the offices in the Capitol and how they all work together to
make our state operate. The State Treasurer’s office was a hit - they
each got to hold $600,000.00! They then spent some time on the Senate
and House floor while both were in session. They also caught up with
former Newton County Sheriff and Arkansas State Representative, Keith
Slape. Huge thanks to Senator Bryan King, Representative Steven
Walker, and Representative Chad Puryear for providing these students
with such an awesome opportunity!
