Deer High School students enjoyed getting out and hunting eggs today. A big thank you to all who donated prizes for our annual egg hunt. We appreciate all our donors:

Come out to the Deer pond on May 3rd and join us for a Family Fishing Derby from 9am til 12pm. Participants 16 years and older must have a valid Arkansas Fishing License.

Game Day!!! The Antler Baseball team is on the road taking on Lead Hill today at 4:30pm. The team will be sporting their sharp looking new uniforms. Thank you Deer Red Oak for donating our new uniforms!

We traveled to Alum Cove in March to learn about land management practices and to plan for our outdoor leadership activities next year. Our students have great ideas for camping, canoeing, hiking, and caving. Looking forward to an exciting 25-26!


Thank you so much to our school board for purchasing OpenSciEd kits for science this year! We have been doing some really cool things, including this project extracting DNA from fruit and testing the effects of different amounts of detergent on the amount of DNA extracted. Fun!

First grade has some big news to be excited about!! Three of our smart cookies have began reading chapter books independently!! So proud of this amazing achievement!! 📖📚📖




1st grade had a fun little FREE book fair!! The kids loved it!! So excited to see them love books and reading!! ❤️❤️

It's a great day with multiple opportunities to catch the Deer Antlers in action on the court and on the field. Antler Baseball travels to Omaha to take on the Eagles starting at 4pm. Our Pee Wee basketball teams will be at home tonight taking on the Kingston Yellow Jackets starting at 5:30pm. Also our own Sr High Basketball Antler Mason Guinnip will be representing Deer High School in the All-Star Basketball Game at NorthArk College at 6pm.


Attention Parents: Deer Schools Kindergarten and Pre-K Registration will be held on Wednesday April 16th from 11am to 6pm on campus.


The Deer Junior Class will be hosting the annual Chicken Supper on Saturday April 26th from 4 to 6 PM. Pre-sale tickets are available from any Junior Class member for $7 - Adult, $6 - Child. Are you ready for some Baseball!!!


Deer High School students participated in the Get Real program today at school. Joei Phillips with the U of A Extension Office worked with students to understand budgeting, credit card interest and life choices. Assisting Joei was Adam Willis with the extension office and Renee McCutcheon from Anstaff Bank.











Lots of fun is being had in 1st grade this week! Read across America paired with 100th day of school, yes please!! Who said learning can't be fun?!?!?!
